GulfMar Ltd is collaboration between Sharjah based land and sea logistics provider, Gulftainer Ltd and Sulaimaniyah based aviation services provider, Azmar Air. GulfMar Ltd was chosen by the investment council of the Kurdistan Regional Government based on a proven track record of international and regional success from both partners.

On completion of the first phase of the project in 2011, the cargo village will consist of an aircraft apron of 43,750 sqm, a cargo warehouse facility with full customs facilities, 24 hour on site security services with associated CCTV footage, dangerous goods storage and cold storage facilities. GulfMar Ltd will provide trained and qualified ground handling personnel and experienced warehouse and cargo handling teams to ensure that all services are provided to the highest standards and meet all international regulatory requirements.

The first phase of the project will also include freight forwarding sheds that will be available for lease for the storage of cargo. Each shed will provide over 300 sqm of storage space and will be accessible to our clients 24 hours a day. Further to this, phase 2 of the project will also include office space for rent at extremely competitive prices for aviation and cargo based companies in a purpose built office block on the site.
